Chief Operating Officer
Malcolm Stogo is one of the world’s premier ice cream consultants and has written several books on ice cream desserts and operations. For the last three decades, Malcolm has helped ice cream chains develop, market, and merchandise exciting new products and concepts, including the famous Ice Cream Extravaganza at the South Street Seaport in New York City. He works with international clients in Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, as well as clients across the United States including national brands such as Häagen-Dazs, Carvel, Colombo, Penguin Frozen Yogurt. Malcolm has also helped many small ice cream entrepreneurs such as Sloan’s in Florida and Shriver’s Gelato on the Jersey Shore.

Dr. Cate Shanahan
A graduate of Stanford and Harvard, a Peace Corps volunteer, and a former magazine, newspaper, and book editor (Esquire, the Los Angeles Times, Simon and Schuster), Gene Stone is the author and/or ghostwriter of thirty-five books. He has written extensively in both the business and health arenas, including (as a ghost) the #1 New York Times bestseller Start Something That Matters for Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS shoes; and the bestselling Engine 2 Diet for Rip Esselstyn, the nationally renowned vegan firefighter. Gene’s last two books were about health: The Secrets of People Who Never Get Sick, which has been translated into twenty-two languages, and Forks Over Knives, which was also a #1 New York Times bestseller.
